James McCann – Stand Up

Having spent time onstage as a compere, vocalist and entertainer, James is now channeling his experience into building a standup career. Currently performing five and ten minute open spots, James hopes to progress and develop his set in clubs and other live comedy venues. He bills himself as a ‘relentless optimist’ and his quick wit and relatable material appeal to audiences of all ages, as the video on the right shows. Filmed at the Halifax Comedy Festival, it was James’ standup debut and the first of many spots he is using to hone his style.
